Scope of Work
The Basker-Manta-Gummy fields offshore Victoria, known as BMG, produced oil from 2005 – 2011. The project was a first of a kind in relation to production from a FPSO offshore Victoria. The field is currently in a non-production phase with re-development options being considered. Upstream PS provided the following services:
- Acted as Client Project Management Contractor
- Managed well construction and completions
- Completed all engineering design and procurement
- Sourced and selected Crystal Ocean FPSO
- Managed Conversion of Crystal Ocean FPSO
- Design of mooring and conversion of Basker Spirit Shuttle Tanker
- Commissioned, operated and maintained the Crystal Ocean FPSO
- Operated the field as the NOPSEMA registered operator
- Decommissioning including FPSO, FSO and subsea infrastructure
