PROJECT OVERVIEW
Scope included the installation of a new brine transfer pipeline running from the existing plant’s reject/brine manifold near the Atlas WTP to Dam 2-Cell 2. This transfer line included excavated as well as above ground sections and was completed to APGA Code of Practice requirements.
The brine line project provides additional operational flexibility for Senex, allowing them better management of RO Reject/brine from the facility, now and in the future.
ADDED VALUE
GRPS project team identified and implemented improvements in the original design including re-routing the pipeline to not impact existing terrain and allow for future expansions.
Successful tie-in to the existing infrastructure also minimised downtime of the water treatment plant.
The project was delivered successfully below budget and ahead of time.
