Upstream Production Solutions (Upstream PS) is pleased to announce the extension of its Contract with Origin, the upstream operator of Australia Pacific LNG. Services will now continue through to May 2020 and include wellsite, gas production and water treatment facility maintenance, operations support and major works to support Australia Pacific LNG’s operations in the Surat Basin in South Western Queensland.
Under the Contract, Upstream PS continues to complete all maintenance and associated services for a minimum of 2000 wells, seven gas processing facilities (15 trains), nine water gathering systems, two water treatment facilities, two pipeline compression facilities and two permeate-treatment facilities.
Managing Director Joe Corvetti said Upstream PS is completely aligned with APLNG’s approach to sustainable production through continued focus on health, safety and environment best practice.
Upstream PS Executive General Manager East Cameron Wills said the “tier one” contract is the foundation to driving the growth of the business through specialist “Production Assurance” services, such as flange management, vessel entry, safety critical and Hazardous Area equipment inspection, PSV certification and electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
