PROJECT OVERVIEW
Vintage Energy was listed in September 2018, and secured four separate, but highly strategic, natural gas exploration opportunities. Since then, Vintage have made three significant gas discoveries, two in the Cooper Basin and one in the Otway Basin.
The Vali and Odin field development in the Cooper Basin is located approximately 2 hours northeast of Moomba, on the Queensland side of the SA/QLD border.

GRPS were engaged by Vintage to operate this facility. Our role commenced with the provision of preparation services in the areas of Regulatory compliance, technical support (control system related), and detailed Operations Readiness activities such as operating, and maintenance procedures.
Our Commissioning and Operations team completed successful commissioning of the Vali-1 well at the Vali Site. First gas was introduced on 21st February with stable production. Two further wells were commissioned 2-3 weeks later. The longer-term plan with these facilities is to leave them unmanned with scheduled campaign visits. Remote dashboarding and Control System, were designed by Mipac, and are both performing strongly.
